Hi, Corley – Been there. I needed a Blazer that stopped igniting and then instantly began working again a few months later. Remember, you can usually use a sparker/striker to light it if the regular monitor fails. At least until it decides another from vacation! My butane torch is completely new, just took it from the box 2-3 weeks ago.
I tilt the fire goes out. Just how do.i fix this? Hi, @Unknown – Hmm. If the torch down is pointing straight, sometimes this seems to screw up the flame and can snuff it out. Since it’s new, the ultimate way to correct it is to return it. Get a new one or different one.
Hi, Joe, a year of working flawlessly my Newport zero stopped working after. Unfortunately I don’t have my receipt so I can’t sign up for warranty service. The last time I filled it, I think I overstuffed it unintentionally. I held the refill onto it for longer than normal down, as it didn’t prompt me that it was full. After that it was shooting out a blast of butane, which caused the blue fire to become a huge buttery orange flame. And then it stopped working entirely.

Now it will only make just a little dome of a fire for a fifty-percent second right after ignition prior to going out. I could no more listen to any hissing once I open up the nozzle. That’s frustrating. I’d empty the torch as described in my post. Allow it to sit down for and then refill it awhile.
If it generally does not ignite, try to ignite it by hand with a marker or similar then. Did you try contacting the business for advice? I know it’s out of warranty but maybe they can provide you some brand-specific help. All the best – I hope you can again get it to work. I purchased a gamete-butane torch recently, uses a disposable gas canister. Worked fine for a day or two, but now when I turn on the gas nob no gas comes out at all, even with completely new full canister, could this be a block resulting from cheap gas? Hi, Landucci – You might have thought of all of this already, but are some ideas here.
